$899.46

24x48” acrylic, ceramic stucco and modeling clay on canvas.

TRYPOPHOBIA, or the fear of repeating patterns, came to mind when painting this piece. It’s made up of hundreds of different splashes of paint in dozens of different colors, blending together when viewing from afar but with loads of detail as you inspect closer.

The ceramic stucco adds a sand-like texture to parts of the painting, while others have an acrylic gloss. All paint strokes are either vertical or horizontal, which is why I gave TRYPOPHOBIA its name.

Unlike it’s namesake though, no need to be afraid of TRYPOPHOBIA, it’s just a painting.
